Liam and I have been secretly planning a wedding reception for our friends, Marcia and David. Here’s the kicker, my best friend Marcia, and David aren’t together anymore. They broke up three months ago. Marcia keeps herself extremely busy with her new boutique, Guilty Pleasure. She has tried to keep a brave face, but at night I hear her cry. It breaks my heart because she really loves David. But relationships can be challenging especially when one party hurts the other it’s hard to fix. I know they have hooked up one time since their break up, but nothing came out of that. Liam and I thought they were going to get back together. Imagine my surprise when David called and asked for me to have everyone meet at Indulgence, which is my and Liam’s catering company. The entire crew was there, myself, Liam, Carmen (my other best friend) and her husband Cooper, then David dropped the bomb.
