Oh my god! Why oh why?? I just finished the book so its all still feel raw to me. The ending! Why? Im practically weeping and whining here. Miss Thomas why are you so cruel? You give me the tastiest cookies crumbs ever until the ending you didnt even let me finish eating one piece of cookies. I am falling in love with the characters. With sadist but nice Leo and scared but steong Faith. Pages by pages i am drawn to their story. But in the end of the book i was left undone. Please tell me youre gonna write the sequel and the long epilogue. I dont know, maybe its just me. Because its my first Kitty Thomas' book anyway. But i must say this is a great book. I will give it 6 stars if its not because the missing epilogue. I guess 4 stars will do. And then i will start whining and weeping again :)) What this book isn't: It isn't 'Comfort Food' or even 'Tender Mercies.'What it is, is a book about two very unlikely people bonding after an abduction.I'm a huge Kitty fan so I am sure that I probably am a tad bias but the book is very well written and the Italian family definitely adds to the interesting/fun factor.I would label this book as being grey romance and not dark, but still a great read from an exceptionally talented Author.
