I have to say that I was skeptical when I ordered this book. I am super glad that I did order it because I loved both of the stories that are in this book. They are some of the authors earlier works and they are great! This is one of my favorite authors of paranormal romance. She is able to create stories that suck us in to the world that she has created. These stories do the exact same. I was hooked from page one. I am also a fan of the comedic timing this author has. There are some truly brilliant and witty parts to this book that leave you laughing out loud. (note your spouse and children may think you are mad).I wish the author would continue this story line with further books! um not overly sure how to describe this one. Definitely weird short stories sent in a very interesting town. Both short stories were fun and a bit weird but certainly hot. I will say that i had a bit of issue with the real lack of self esteem these women had until they finally bagged their men and then their confidence just shoots through the roof. But other than that little weakness it was good. Drastically different from everything else i've ever read by Gena.
Since it was 2 novellas, it was a fast read. Totally Showalter sexy though. lol
