Making Good Habbits Breaking Bad Habbits (2013) - Plot & Excerpts
I bought this book in 2013 and picked up out of my collection to start reading, I was drawn in almost instantly, after I opened it. Joyce shares how a habit takes 30 days to make or break, which is true in most cases. She shares great Godly wisdom and insight on what habits we should be making, in order to break the bad habits, which we all have. She gives Scripture to back up each habit she speaks of to help the Christian who needs this book help and wisdom. WE can break bad habits and make good habits, in fact great habits with God's help. Nothing is impossible with God. The habits which stood out to me, were generosity, responsibility, emotional, confidence, discipline, "The God habit", they are the ones that stood out to me due to the fact that these are ones I know I need to build on more every day. Joyce delivers a no nonsense approach to speaking God's Truth through using God's Word to make it clear, how as Christians we need to make necessary changes to be more Christ-like every day of our lives. She pulls no punches when it comes to speaking the truth to all of God's people. She also speaks from experience and adds that to each of her books and teachings, she does not hold herself higher than anyone else. She is a modest, humble woman of God who wants to see Christians have everlasting joy and peace in their lives, not keep living miserably and in turmoil."Taking full responsibility for our actions is possibly one of the most emotionally painful things that we face in life." I've read a dozen books on procrastination, breaking bad habits, creating good habits, and I must say this is easily one of the best out there.Joyce informs us how to break our bad habits and create the ones we are destined for in life. Joyce understands bad habits are very difficult to break, but there are ways to reassure ourselves to overcome them and defeat bad habits.A must read for anyone who is looking to create good habits in life, or even change their lives around.
