Aaron is an employee at Logan's construction firm. Logan has an identical twin brother, Jake, who has a business across the hall. Aaron has worked for Logan for 4 years and has been in love with him the entire time. As a result, he is nervous around Logan all the time. With Jake, however, he is able to flirt and play around because he has no feelings for him. There is a mistaken identity situation that moves the story forward. I liked the story okay but I feel that there were so many missed opportunities. There was very little dialogue between Aaron and Logan throughout the entire story and then when everything came together, it just seemed like an total nonevent to me. There were a few times when I was like "huh?"I loved Jake. A lot. I will probably read his story, though this particular story didn't really do much for me. I guess it was okay for a short story, but it still missed a lot. It was a nice story. A bit too short though. There was no room for development for the characters and the action. The plot was interesting enough and with plenty of side characters to give substance for something lengthier.[spoiler ahead]The story itself was cute, with Aaron trying to deny his feelings for Logan, while at the same time, Logan's twin, Jack, was admittedly gay and flirting with Aaron. And with both characters so shy, it was a given the only way out was through mistaken identity. Not very surprising but it did make for a nice read.[end spoiler]
What do You think about Man Candy (2007)?
Second time reading through. It was very good. Only wish it was a longer.

Cute, even if you did want to shake both of them for non-communication!
