A nice book to read really. Describes Pauls life after The Beatles and the many struggles and happy times he had. From The Beatles split and law suit, to Wings, to his family life this book captures the element all 4 had to go through which was "I used to be a Beatle... now what?". Tom intimately gets to know Paul and asks many questions that a lot of journalist/reporters would be too timid to do.Brilliant book I say. I enjoyed this book, but would have enjoyed it alot more if there were was more information on the making of the albums and less on the tabloidy stuff. Some of the albums are barely touched on. With all the access the author had to McCartney and some of the other principals it seems like a lost opportunity. I did think the earlier part of the book dealing with the years right after the Beatles breakup was the most interesting as far as his personal story.
I won this from a goodreads giveaway and I absolutely loved it! I'm a big fan of Paul McCartney!

Not the best book I ever read but since I'm a McCartney fan it was a good diversion.
