Interesting. Vivid characters, with outsized personalities. I always enjoy the friends to lovers trope. I liked the first two thirds of the book - the hero and heroine are so stupid about each other, so in love and blind to see it. But then the repetitive descriptions got to me: words like whining, screeching, used over and over. The characters went from vivid to cartoonish. So yeah, I think this could have been a great book with some polish and editing. As is, it’s a 3-ish stars.Freebie from kindle. This book was pretty tame in my opinion and I liked that. It was also pretty funny. I loved the relationship between Brad and Colleen. It felt really realistic - the way they described eachother, bad breath and all. The way they fought and made up. Even the way they end up together, I could so see it happening. I loved the way the story progressed and how these two came together. It took them a minute to get on the same page and be honest with one another, but the journey was fun. My only complaints are that the story flow felt kind of off in parts and it needs a bit of editing.

Mildy annoying characters at times. Decent storyline.
