For what it was, it wasn't completely disastrous, I suppose. Is this the day, though? Have I had a surfeit of consummate pulp? Maybe I just wasn't in the mood...It was trite, rote, really rather unsexy, sometimes suspiciously heteronormative, and rather codependency-like. I wanted to know more about Jess' sob story than Joseph's "identity crisis."Gilliam was a complete travesty. He was a plot device the author had no idea what to do with, really, when he could have been so, so much more. Not to mention the grammar and diction reminded me of middle-school "creative writing" assignments. Also, there was a weird idiom. Playing with a full deck? I feel like the author meant "stacked deck."*sigh Enjoyed it, 5 for the feel good moods. No great evil to deal with (love that) just a little fast romance (at first) with joseph not sure why he's into mykael when guy's was never his thing to ceremony, then it slowed to show events over a period of time (in yrs.) Got a bit of surprise later on a tad diff. Than the usual in this genre. Soo want to say more on that haaaa. If there is a equal let it be Jess, he so have a mystery man there
What do You think about Mate Of The Tsatrya (2011)?
It kind of jumps around in places but its a cute quick read.
