I really enjoyed this story. Kale has gone through horrible life from being a valet to a hard labor. Jason from being a spoil brat to grown man, both seem to find something in each other that balance and works for them. I love the fact that the author did not over do the M/M scene but created an emotional connection so you could understand what they were going through. Both were young when they first got together and living the life they only new of slavery and master and what society expected of them money and power. But as they come to grow and realize there is another world out there Jason begins to see possibilities of them being together. I am looking forward to the next book. I read the first book in this series and then immediately went and bought the sequel, because I just had to find out what happened to Jason and Kale!I was not disappointed. The changing dynamics of their relationship in the book are so carefully explored and well-written, I again couldn't put the book down. I felt so sorry for both of them. This is a great series, that I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a series that is un-put-downable.
So glad that Jason and Kale found their way back to each other... I love happy endings!
