Meeting Mr. Write (2014) - Plot & Excerpts

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.I enjoyed “Meeting Mr. Write”. I was really excited to read that the heroine was a romance novelist. I love it when the characters have something to do with books. It helps me to relate to them even more. Poor Rosie has lost her writing ‘mojo’ after being jilted at the altar. JJ is a typical man whore. I found myself chuckling while reading this book. I found JJ to be arrogant and kind of selfish. He didn’t seem to care about the feelings of those around him. He did have some redeeming qualities, but I’m not big on the whole sleeping with a different partner every night. Rosie is a romantic. I loved that she still believed in love and was looking for true love. Pippa was a hoot. I loved her free spirit and unwavering loyalty to Rosie. I loved the dual POV’s and that it left you with a happy feeling. No cliffhanger here, just room for more. 4-BombsReviewed by Tracy Rosetta is a romance novelist with a bit of a block; caused from being stood up at the altar the year before. How does one write about love when one can no longer believe in it? With the pressure of a deadline for another novel quickly nearing, she grabs her bff, Pippa, and runs off on holiday for inspiration. Thailand is where the girls end up, along with a fellow travel author Rosetta keeps randomly running into. Jackson is a player and intends for it to stay that way. But there's something special about Rosie... Rosie falls quickly for Jackson's charms but knows he has no intentions for settling down. Their romance is doing wonders for her writing though! Rosie knows she's headed for heartbreak. She doesn't yet realize that Jackson is having some new and strong feelings for her too, though. What will happen? Will it be a happy ending...or - not?I loved the fun characters in this novella!! Pippa was a hoot!!! The relationship between Rosie and her brother was heartwarming - as well as that between her brother and his partner. The Thailand setting was great! I'll definitely be moving on to the next book in the series! I hope there will be another opportunity for holiday - maybe another exotic destination! As long as Pippa is included, that is! :)

What do You think about Meeting Mr. Write (2014)?

It was quite chaotic and full of spelling errors. On the other hand, it was quite funny.
