Let me start by being ecstatic that Layel gets a book. I really think everyone dumps on him, not really knowing him and the things he has done have rhyme and reason and deep seated good guy. Suffering horrible survivors guilt. Ok but is anyone else getting that this Atlantis reminds you of Peter, Hook, Mermaids, Natives, and Neverland. Everyone is supernatural and they fight between factions... not so much because they need to as it seems like there is only one town, but more because they can and they hardly truly win these wars and most heal quickly... it is more to give something for them to do through the centuries. lol. I have read The Lords of the Underworld series and patiently await the next installment. So for the mean time I decided to try the Atlantis Series. I thought this was the best of the Atlantis series so far. I found Layal fascinating in the previous books and looked forward to his story. I am a sucker for happy endings so I loved that part as well. I also liked the diversity in the book Layal and Delilah, Shivawn and Alyssa, Zane and Nola, and the challanges. I also like how all books connected in a way. I hate when a good story ends so I like to see characters from previous stories and their happily ever after.
What do You think about Mempelai Sang Vampir (2011)?
This was okay, but not my favorite of her books that I have read.
