She had been the only girl he ever made love too, but them she vanished from his life. Now that they were back together could things be different for them? We might never know who the snitch is... Maybe Angelo is just that good and has eyes and ears everywhere, but Colin and Maria Sofia sure know how to heat things up!Taking the Heat - Layla left Bryan years ago. She was young and insecure, but above all she couldn't deal with the fear of being told for a third time that a man she loved was gone. Letting Layla walk out of his life was the biggest mistake Bryan ever made. Now life had thrown them back together and while her life may be in danger, both their hearts are on the line. Sylvia Day is brilliant when it comes to hot love affairs. Throw in the thrill of a chase, some corrupt cops, a drug cartel and a really hot good guy and there is no way you can go wrong ;) My favorite of all three stories are, of course, Maya Banks. It's sweet and angsty and so typical of Maya Banks I liked it so much. Karin Tabke's story is good but it went too fast. I know it's just novella, but I feel unsatisfied. The story left me hanging and when I finished it, I was like, that's it? The ending could've been better than that. Sylvia Day's story is good too, enough with angst and hot scene. I always fancy man in uniform, so it's not a waste to spent my time reading this book. I'll purchase another! :)
