It was the softest silk, and it draped on her body to perfection. She knew it must have cost a fortune even though there wasn’t very much fabric to the thing. She still didn’t understand how basically two seamed-together silk handkerchiefs could look so elegant. She’d even had her hair and makeup done professionally. And she felt like Cinderella going to the ball with her handsome princes except that Dylan and Mathew had joined forces on the drive to the venue and decided it would make the night more interesting to have her on edge and sexually frustrated.
