His body was cold without Storm to hold him, and that only made him irritable. He quickly shifted, his fur coat protecting him from the cold. Storm pulled their bag of supplies over his head and shifted as well. “There’s nothing we can do about the den. They’ll eventually find it and know which direction we’ve gone in,” Storm said. “Then we should hurry,” John replied. His leg was stiff as hell, and it hurt shooting off into an immediate run without stretching it out first, but he eventually overcame that.
