Normally I avoid YA stories like the plague, but as this author is a favorite of mine, I thought I would give it a shot. I ended up enjoying the story, though there were times when I wanted to smack Johnny upside the head. It was a sweet story with lots of hot sex to keep things interesting. I loved the supportive family members and friends and the HEA, which I always look for. Had a little trouble with the dialog flow, but not enough to detract from the story - which I loved. What the hell did I just read? This was a big crying party. If I never read a book where all the men are constantly sobbing and streaming tears, it will be too soon.I felt absolutely no chemistry between Johnny and Rich, there was nothing but sex. And this is the first time ever when I have to say the sex left me feeling about to puke. I mean, for real, Johnny was a bear with lots of hair, but did the author have to constantly mention a hairy butthole? And I will never ever eat powdered doughnuts again!!! That was the most disgusting use of doughnuts I've ever heard of in my life *shudders*.Anyways, usually when I get my hands on a bad book I feel disappointed. I honestly can't even feel let down at this point, I'm too busy being grossed out.And finally, have I mentioned yet I hate when authors use dong and other ridiculous terms for cock or dick. I mean call it what it is. Suck my big dong just sounds a little.....well dongy. All of you who are in need of a day of dieting, you don't need to worry about finding the motivation. Just read this book!
