This book had me hooked from the start. A Cinderella story with a twist? Sign me up!The protagonist is likeable right away, and the moment you hear of her situation your heart goes out to her. The whole book is told in a beautiful manner, and the protagonist added with the storyline makes the story flow well until the end.The hints of romance throughout the novel makes you smile, and with the mystery and fantasy genres dominating the book, it makes a great read. It's a book I can read over and over and not get sick of it. It's not predictable or cliche, and has some suspenseful moments that make you hold your breath.Overall, a great book that I recommend highly. this book at the start sounds just like any other Cinderella story but that is where your mind is wrong! it may start out like that but main character doesn't stay and just take what is being thrown at her so she sets off on a journey with a young man! it is a great book about standing up for yourself and finding your own way in life because not everyone has a fairy godmother! this classic tale has a different twist and it is perfect!- AG x
