Brian took her hand and led her through the hotel lobby to the elevators. They traveled up to their room in complete silence. Jeni thought something might be wrong. His face appeared a bit more serious than usual, especially after having just had great sex. They had been laughing and kissing and joking around during the cab ride, but the second they hit the elevator, he got extremely quiet. “I’ve been thinking,” he said, turning to face her as soon as they closed the hotel room door behind them. “About what?” she asked softly.
