When I saw Frozen for the first time, it really reminded me of this book. Just the idea of two sisters drifting apart over time, and the younger sister wishing that the older sister wasn't so distant and that they could spend more time together. Then, both stories also involve the younger sister setting off on an adventure to find the older; she won't give up on her big sister no matter what, even though everyone else has. There are also much more similarities, I just don't want to include any spoilers. If you enjoyed Frozen, you should definitely read this book haha! This book was so dang average. I mean i did not hate it by any means, but it was not a book that I loved or even really liked. It was pretty predictable. I guessed that Nina loved Jason, Sean's brother (which was supposed to be the big plot twist). This book also felt very amateurish, which is super interesting since I felt that way about her Secret Sisterhood of Heartbreakers series too. I just feel like this author is very childish still, and has not come into her own as a writer.
What do You think about Mottentanz (2011)?
What got me going was her search for her sister, and it was worth it.
