Mr. Miracle: A Christmas Novel (2014) - Plot & Excerpts
I wasn't sure if I would enjoy a male angel. At first he seemed so fussy and conceited, but when he continued to bumble his way through his assignment and started admitting that he knew so little about humans and their emotions, I started to enjoy him. This standard romantic plot gave no surprises, but provided a wonderful Christmas read. I can't wait to see what else Harry will become involved on his next assignment. This is a light Christmas story by Debbie Macomber that meets my need for uplifting reading over the holidays. The plot and ending were predictable, but I really enjoyed the very diverse cast of characters in this story, ranging from stubborn young woman, cocky guy next door, Veteran with service dog, parolee, and teacher/angel, barrista angel. In the spirit of the holidays, I rate it 4 stars. My thanks to Debbie Macomber for spinning another fun holiday tale.
