A mystery story filled with funfilled details, I had never heard of the character, in fact now would love to see the video, loved Adrian Monk and his unique way of living life, which would drive those around him nuts, the details are rather funny, but in spite of it all he gets results, and nails killersJulie his new assistant is a fun loving character, as is his Mother Nathalie, and off course his girlfriend Ellen Morse, The whole story is delightful, I got a copy in large print which made it even better to read, certainly much easier to read in bed propped up by pillows.Must check out and see what else there is to read or see about Adrian Monk, thanks for a great read! Lee Goldberg's introduction states that this is last Monk book, and he's certainly finishing on a strong note. A nicely developed storyline with a familiar cast of engaging characters, Mr. Monk Gets Even is the coup de grace of crimes for the OCD detective. As usual, the San Francisco locale adds to the aura, and although the Monk brothers are clearly not normal, they are endearing. Highly recommended!
