Murder Of A Bookstore Babe (2011) - Plot & Excerpts
I think that this series has finally lost me. This series is usually entertaining and fun, but between this book and the last one, it is now becoming a chore to read. There comes a time in a series when you can tell that it is ready to end because it seemed like it was written just to hash out another book. I enjoy most of the secondary characters and I found myself wishing that they were featured more than Skye this time around. I have to admit that the last bit with Simon peaked my interest but I'm not sure if I will continue with the series. I decided after reading a 2nd book (for me) in this series I have to read the rest. I have come to really like the characters, the one liners such as "you can dress up a pig, but that don't make him king of the prom", and the stories in general. Have more books on reserve from the library and what I can't find there I hope to find at the used bookstore! Can't wait to read the rest of the adventures!
