There's a serious place in my heart for easy-to-digest fiction. And within that space, there's another compartment for said books that can be read super quickly.Sometimes you just want to be encapsulated by the plot of a book in the same time you could watch a movie, and while this might have been longer than Mean Girls, it was close to fitting the bill. I'm no yogi, but Murder Strikes a Pose nearly had me believing that I was. With each corpse pose and downward dog, I was brought into Kate's world with a believability so strong I felt like I'd been in her apartment. Seriously - Weber has a knack for detail that is easy to appreciate. Strong plot, strong character, a good ending and a few surprising twists along the way that I didn't know were coming for me. Then there is the wonderful supporting set of characters. Plus the mystery and we have a really good adventure.
