I put ths book down for awhile because the writing style was really irritating. I had a difficult time getting past the running internal dialogue. But I'm so glad I picked it back up! The story got so much better once she flew to the resort and began the back and forth with Concierge Ryan. I loved the setting, the descriptions of the landscape and waterways, and of course, the wildlife. Now I'm dying to take a Canadian road trip! What a hidden gem of a book! I am happily surprised by Must Love Otters. Hollie Porter is done. Done with her no-fun co-workers, self absorbed boyfriend and lack luster life. What does she do? She takes a much needed break by going to a resort. There she meets Ryan, pilot, concierge & general pain in the ass. Until something more happens. This book was lovely. Hollies voice shines through - her disdain for the life she's living, the people surrounding her. She is hilarious! But even though I enjoyed her, its the banter between her & Ryan that steals the show. Oh, how great a story. Funny & heartwarming. Enjoy!
What do You think about Must Love Otters (2013)?
Would have loved an epilogue but a fantastic read!
