Matt Ricky stood up and walked over to me. “Brother or not, you need to talk to him. I’m going to wait outside before I do something I regret.” Ricky said slowly into my ear. I silently agree with my eyes and watch him exit the room. “What’s the matter with him?” I hear Dean say, still with his game paused. I look at him with a shocked expression. “What do you think is wrong Dean?” I try to stay calm, but it comes out as more of a growl. Dean shrugs it off. “Anyway, what did you come to talk to me about?” To say I am shocked and scared of my little brother’s nonchalant attitude would be an understatement. “Why do you think Nate is brainwashing her?” “I just know alright?” Dean snapped. ‘I don’t think this is going to be as easy as I thought it would be.’ I thought to myself.
