This book ranks somewhere around 2.5 for me. I found myself skipping around a bit, and I never did manage to go back and read everything I skipped... but I just had no interest in those bits. Once she's been through her third, "omg are they going to figure it out?!" moment, it starts getting repetitious. No matter how it was disguised, it was still the same schtick. I thought the premise was cute, kind of like Tootsie but with her pretending to be Irish, except it just didn't pull it off. I also didn't really care for the way her accent was spelled... You can remind readers about the accent, but spelling "filum" was a bit heavyhanded and took more from the story than it added.2.5 stars for a cute plot and enjoyable writing. After my trip to Ireland I began binging on any kind of Irish book.... this is NOT Angela's Ashes. A light little jig about re-inventing yourself into the kind of person you wish you were. Linda is an actress that is just not getting the jobs because she is just too average. She re-invents herself as Meghan the sassy Irish lass and begins living her dream life. There are a few bumps in the road to instant fame.... this is a fun book.

This was cute! The whole Michael plot was pretty annoying, but ignoring that, a cute little read.

It was ok - a little too fluffy for my taste.
