In Rebecca Patterson's My No, No,No Day, we see a little girl named Bella who just is not having a good day. This book takes us through her day and how she refuses everything that is going on around her. I did not give this book a very high rating because I found that it was distasteful and a bit annoying in the way the book is written. I think that we all have our bad days but I have read other cildrens books written about horrible days that were more enjoyable. Bella woke up on the wrong side of the bed and is having a VERY bad day, she does not want to cooperate with her mommy and is emotionally negative about everything she has to do. Adults and children will find humor in Bella's grumpy demeanor. But at the end of the day when her mommy tucks her into bed she realizes that tomorrow she can choose to be more cheerful.Grade level: K-2Lexile & DRA not available.Genre: Picture book, realistic fiction, behavior/emotions
I liked that the illustrator did not forget to show how frazzled the mom is.

Story felt a bit rushed and I didn't really like the art all that much
