Damon walked around comfortably with his hand on my waist until he wandered off to greet sponsors. It intimidated me sometimes how well known he was and how great his network. As they say, we still lived in a man’s world and I challenged anyone who didn’t think women deserved equal rights. Someone stood beside me quietly admiring the painting.
