Third in the series and I finally have an opinion...I'm not sure I like What's-Her-Name...exactly I can barely remember her name....Jackie. For the most part, she's a forgettable character but when she's not, she's a little ditzy and self-absorbed. She's not believable as an archaeologist and she lacks the ability to see the big picture. Jackie is surprised by Remy's ability to compartmentalize and put aside all the bad things that happen to her, however, Jackie is actually much better at this. The bad luck she's brought to her friends and the far reaching consequences of her mistakes don't weigh her down nearly as much as her own romantic problems. She's so busy obsessing over the two men in her life that most of the time she misses the obvious, that she was single before she met them, she didn't really choose them as romantic interests and she can have anyone else she likes. I suspect I'm supposed to admire her for her decision not to be a slut but honestly, it would probably be better for her and everyone else in her life if she were less prudish which makes it seem more idiotic than admirable. LOVED THIS BOOK!!If you're looking for adventure, humor ,romance and incredible HOT sexy scenes this is the book!!Warning Spoilers ahead...I've been SO on the fence with Noah & Zane, I couldnt choose who I wanted Jackie to be with!! After reading this book it all came clear and Im really happy Jackie chose Zane (whew! what a hot hot vampire!!), but I couldnt help feeling torn for Noah!!!There were 3 parts that really moved me...1.Jackies response to the truth about looking like Rachel, a past love of both Noah and Zane made me so sad for Jackie... to think the 2 men she loved so much only loved her because she looked like Rachel,2. Noahs leaving Jackie and commanding her not to come after him,3. Jackie confessing to Zane she was giving her one wish from Gabriel to him, she wanted him to use it to go back to heaven and be happy with Rachel again, and then Zanes response to Jackie..... so so so romantic!!!!Book 3 was an incredible ride!! So glad to see Remy again and the new character Ethan was great!!Thanks Jill Myles for these wonderful characters and their adventures!
What do You think about My Fair Sukuba (2012)?
