I wish there had been more about their r relationship as teenagers, with Jas filling in and playing the knight in shining armor since her boyfriend was running around on her, but for what it's worth it was a really sweet story. I also wish there had been more written on Tiffany and Lisa. Like someone kicking their asses for the way they spoke about Katie at the wedding. I mean it was ten years later! I love stories where best friends fall in love though so regardless of the bitchiness of a couple of the girls, I thought the story was wonderful. And sexy. Which is always a plus. After 10 yrs away Katie Lawson has returned to Harpers Crossing for her best friends wedding. now a successful lawyer soon to be jnr partner at her law firm in San Francisco heading home seems the hardest thing to deal with. After leaving the day after her high school boyfriend's death she had never been back so facing her family, her old friends, Jason Sloan and Nick's family brings her to have a panic attack. Trying to calm down she knows she can do this get in do the wedding have fun avoid Jason at all costs - simple NO!Jason has waited 10 yrs to see Katie again and he is not letting her go this time. He missed her so much and knowing he always loved her but with her long time boyfriend Kas was always her neat friend. time to change that! whether she is ready or not. Jason meets Katie add soon as she arrives at her childhood home, the sparks are there from the 1st second. Undeniable add the 2 sirens more time together Old feelings arise and feelings are noted and acted apon.Along with the wedding of the year for this family and new/old love is regrown by 2 very likeable characters. Katie knows that although the weekend and wedding has been wonderful but she has a career back home. Is the new relationship with Jason enough for her to return home to harpers crossing and give up everything she has worked so hard for? This story is told in both Katie and Jason pov with plenty of flashbacks to fill in all the blanks. Cute love story with great characters
