My Merlin Awakening (2012) - Plot & Excerpts

Thankfully, I really enjoyed this one. The Characters were more defined and given their own time to breathe. The action scenes were written well, better than the 1st one. I liked the plot, it was interesting and gripping! It tore me to choose between Vane and Merlin. Merlin has always been my favorite. I started this for Merlin. But Vane proves an equal competition!! Loved the fact that Gia, Grey and Blake were given enough space and their characters were stronger this time! :DHooked onto the next installment! Can't wait to finish it too :) The story is good and interesting. But I liked the first one better. I always preferred Matt, but I liked Vane too at least in the first book. In this one Vane was just selfish, mean and power-hungry. I love bad boys but I don't understand how the heroine can be with someone who is that mean to her friends. Maybe there will be an explanation for his behaviour in the last book. I also hope that there will be more interaction between Ryan and Matt.
