My Summer Of Pink And Green (2000) - Plot & Excerpts

At the beginning, it was superr slow, and I just kept rolling my eyes at Lucy, ALL THE TIME but after getting to the middle, it was quite a lot more enjoyable, intriguing, and fun. It makes me wanna go to a spa, and the pool, and the beach. It's so summery ^-^.I don't regret reading it, but I think I would have enjoyed it a lot more if I read the first part.. Anyway, now that I think about it, the book was a really nice sunny world to dive into, to take a break from my own problems. Make my rating a 3.5. (I used to give every book I enjoyed a 5, but I guess it's more professional to be strict in ratings ;-;) I honestly picked up this book on a whim. I wouldn't typically read a book like this, but I'm glad I read this book. It was so much better than I initially expected. It isn't really about girly stuff and I'm sure any guy would appreciate this too. There's so much relatable stuff in it, even if you're not opening a spa. It's more about being accepted and being taken seriously, a bring-your-own-chair philosophy mentioned in the book. (The cover is 100% photoshopped, btw)
