I read this story as part of the "Silk" anthology and have fallin in love. Harrison is one sexy Drummer.. I have a soft spot for drummers ;). I must say I haven't read the other books in the Beaumont Series YET but I will. Kayelyn lost her husband suddenly and is try to but the pieces of her life back together as a single mom with twin girls, Elle & Peyton. Harrison move from LA to Beaumont with his son Quinn to be closer to the band and falls head over heal for Katelyn. He knows she needs room and time to mourn but his patience is wearing thin after a year of waiting.Katelyn is torn with her feelings of love & dedication to her husband memory and the fire that Harrison causes her to feel. She is hot and cold towards him - finally giving into her attraction. Needless to say there are bumps in the road to love and they have there share. They do get there HEA .. This book made me laugh, cry and root for Harrison like you would not believe.. That man has the moves.. the romantic words that make you melt. . Sexy Hot Drummer in a Rock Band.... he is the complete Package.. I absolutely loved this 2nd book in the Beaumont series! Harrison is perfect.... They way he loves his son and those girls! Katelyn, she has been through so much and I can't even fathom how hard it must be to move on. But.... There were numerous times I wanted to just slap her silly and say "Come on... Wake up girlfriend!" Lol!! But with all the "push & pull" between the two of them, I found myself sucked in and kind of heartbroken at times. I love love love this story.
I gave it 4 stars even if towards the end I was more than upset with Katelyn.
