It's been covered before, kid moves house and school and worries about making friends. It's endearing but perhaps a little confusing for the youngest readers as the main character makes out he is searching for his friend Neville and other neighbourhood kids offer to help. Turns out the main character is Neville. However it's good for discussion as the children assume the best about Neville and his friend and are happy to help and return the next day. Neville is a book about a little boy who made lots of friends. His friends shouted his name a lot but they didn't know it was his name. I think other kids would enjoy this book because it's great. My favorite part of the book is when his mom is really sweet to him. I think this book is special because the boy is really nice. I was also excited that G. Brian Karas illustrated this book because I love his pictures in another book he drew 'I Like Bugs.' I give this book 5 stars!Review by Eliot K., age 6, Greater Los Angeles Area Mensa
Very clever and sweet. One of my favorites out of the picture books I've read lately.

I loved this book. It is a very different twist on being the new kid on the block.

A very short, simple but moving story. One picture, one sentence. Good for kids.
