Thank goodness we have Felix writing these books now. I enjoyed this book, and it has enough of the style of material that we have grown to enjoy from his father's writing.I liked the definition of the characters and the plot, but I did wonder how Nicholas's neck stood up to some of the action.:)Our hero wasn't perfect either, in his assessment of his relationship, and that was fine in context. Keep writing Felix, please. I'm reading the German translation printed in instalments by our daily newspaper, Darmstädter Echo. It's the first Next Gen Francis novel I read and I haven't read a Dick Francis novel in AGES either; I'm hoping for solid entertainment and fear for another disappointment based on my own changed tastes. But you don't look at a gift horse's teeth...I stopped reading it. It bored me and zzzz.....
Good reading, as always. Written by Felix Francis in the style of his late father, Dick Francis.
