Chris and Sara have returned from Paris thrown right into the continued investigation to what happened to Rebecca. At the same time they are still dealing with residual relationship issues. We also see Mark in a new light as he is showing wear due to the investigation and the declining health of his mother. There is also a woman for him that I am so looking forward to seeing what more comes from that liaison. While I am glad that Chris and Sara have worked out much of their issues, there is still part of me what wonders what it would be like for her to be with Mark. Mark is still working out his issues from Rebecca. I am looking forward to the Master's return. I don't much like him off kilter. It's unnerving. I give No In Between 4 hearts! Received from NetGalley for review. Wow! I was so pissed coming to the end. Not a cliffhanger per say but wait to see what happens next. Sara and Chris move forward in their relationship with some hurdles thrown in. After returning from Paris things move quickly for these two. Sara is still being blamed for the death of Rebecca and Chris is trying to protect her. Sara got more of a backbone in this book, I'm glad to say. During the questioning of Sara I had to laugh because of David the lawyer Chris hired, he was fun, just as Mark's attorney, Tiger. We are well on our way to an HEA for Sara and Chris and I'm hoping these two will be in Mark and Crystal's, fingers crossed, book. From Ricco to Mark and questions being thrown in I didn't know where this book was going. I'd still like to see Rebecca turn up but it's not looking that way. There was not a definitive answer and it could change, even if she doesn't want to be with Mark. Stranger things have happened. I was glad to see Ava and Corey put through their own little piece of hell, never thought Ricco would be the one after what he and Mary did. But Mark better watch his back, it's not going to be pretty. Is there any way to speed up the release of the next one? This is the best out of the full length books for me. The investigation and secondary characters added a lot to the story. The downside is the books need to be read on order to get all of what is going on. I loved the cover of this.
