They say a title can sell a book. That’s definitely true for me with this book. I knew the moment I read the title that I would read the book. Nora Roberts sold this book to me. If you know me, you know that I love Nora Roberts/J.D. Robb. She has inspired me to be the writer I am today.Ava Miles had a lot to live up to, so it’s good that she is a gutsy writer. She took risks with her story, risks that might have turned a reader away. I was surprised by those plot twists, which separated Nora Roberts Land from a lot of books in the romance genre. They were done well, so I kept reading. The plot is interesting, the story is well-told, the characters are likable, and the pace is good. I really enjoyed the book; it inspired me to read the next book in the series. This Apis a must read for any Nora Roberts fans! It has the typical set of a romance novel. A heroine hurting. A hero keeping secrets. A disgusting ex. Well meaning family members. And of course, a mystery that brings the hero and heroine together. Honestly, I went in with very low expectations for this book, but boy did it surprise me. The writing was amazing, the plot came off perfect and the chemistry between the hero and heroine?? Spine tingling! This book was good enough for me to go and get the rest of the series. I think I will enjoy reading them :)

Cute story. Very easy fluffy read. Unfortunately lots of swearing.
