Amazing and Beautiful Read. Jay developed two characters that were thrown together to train for a 12 mile mucky race. These two were to train together for the 12 weeks and at first the two seemed to complement each other as far as incentive. Aidan, one of the co-workers, was gay, but never wanted to get into a relationship due to family influence and a broken heart. Matt, was the cousin of one of the co-workers on the team, and he was bisexual, but didn't want any one to know of his gay side. The two men grew closer and closer as time went on until feelings started getting in the way. Aidan was willing to break his own rules for Matt, but evidently Matt didn't want that.....Two weeks before the race they stay away from each other....Until the day of the race....What a race that was. If you love MM romance you will love this one. This story has a lot of emotion, drama, Hot sex, and love. You'll want to follow these two in their journey.Love Conquers All.... I think this was probably my favourite of Jay's stories. I loved MC2, Matt - sexy, fit and reluctant, and so cute when his confidence began to fail him. The pair were terrible at communication for a while but both had their own fears. I really enjoyed the training aspect of this too. I'm certainly not tempted to run a Mad Mucker or similar, but I have gone from couch potato to long distance runner so I found myself laughing and nodding as I read about Aiden's early training efforts. Great read and definitely one for a re-read at a later date.
What do You think about Nothing Ventured (2014)?
I love Jay's books but this one was eh... Like the title says nothing ventured.
