There are some books that you can read a few pages and set aside easily for such necessities as sleeping and eating. This book just wasn't that kind of book and it left me no choice but to finish it in one night. It's a bit darker than my usual fare of reading, so the dungeon scene at the beginning took an extra effort, but it perfectly sets the tone for the rest of the story. This was one fun read and I can't wait to read the rest of the Nexus series. This was an extremely long-winded novel for what is essentially a simple story. There was a lot of superfluous prose, and I felt like I read the same passages several times at different points in the story. The author also had an awkward habit of cutting off a chapter in what felt like the middle of a scene. Time progressed in stops and starts, and it was confusing to read at times. If you like the female spy stories in a historical romance setting, check out No Longer A Gentleman from Mary Jo Putney's Lost Lords series. That was a much more interesting read of a similar storyine, only with a stronger female lead, a more complex male lead, and a more interesting story woven around the two.
What do You think about İntikamın Güzel Yüzü (2000)?
Riveting suspense, a courageous heroine, and a hero to die for! A page-turning read!
