This book was okay. I liked the characters of Gable and Flynn and the general story, but I felt the plot pace was unbalanced and rushed at time, especially the beginning and end. There was also no real build up or climax to the story. The whole baby thing, I felt, didn't really fit in with the story and seemed contrived and just something to fill up pages. There wasn't enough backstory built to really become interested in the plot and the characters. This book is a shining example of an outstanding story.I re-read this book so many times and, I notice another detail that takes my breath away.Clouds and Rain is about falling into really hard times and then finding love and salvation when least expected. It is about love for who the "person" is, not because he looks gorgeous or how wealthy he is, or how successful/clever he is...it is about loving a person for who they are. As you can guess, I found this story deeply emotional involving a very lonely & belligerent cowboy (Gable) with a seriously ill-health and then comes Flynn who is younger than Gable but equally lonely, downtrodden with a heart of gold. Is there a man better than Flynn for Gable? Definitely "No". For me, Flynn is one's ultimate faithful, loving, protective man/lover/life-time partner.I really don't want to give away too much of the story line because I don't want to take away the pleasure from you.All I could say, if you are into strong male heroes who are hurting, lonely with a heart of gold, then this story is for you.
What do You think about Nuvole E Pioggia (2010)?
I liked the plot (can't resist an injured hero!), but the dialogue seemed awkward to me.

I thought the story was really cute and I liked the writing style as well.
