What a fun book! If you love cooking, then this story will amuse you without a doubt. Four women come to Italy to attend a cooking school run by Luca. One is Australian, one American and two British women. There are some unusual friendship that develop as these four very different women come to see Italy and learn about the Italian passion for food and taste. There was something to like in each of the women and perhaps even find a little of yourself in them. How fun would it be to take off for a couple of weeks to attend a cooking school! Perhaps that is why it really struck a cord with me and I found myself every minute of it. I fell in love with food and the thought of lovingly preparing a dining experience, rather than slapping together three items to make a quick meal to fill the spot. The characters are amazing and the development of them - brilliant. My only complant - the book finished too quickly. I can see another fantastic book growing from this one.Nicky Pellegrino must be one of my favourite authors.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book (more than I thought I would). It really fuelled my inner food snob.
