Occhio Allo Sposo Jessica Wild! (2009) - Plot & Excerpts
Taking off where "The Importance of Being Married " left us , Jessica'sfake wedding to Anthony Milton is called off when she discovers that sheis actually in love with Max Wainwright. In A Wild Affair, Jessica is inthe stages of preparing her wedding to Max when she starts to get coldfeet after Max has been having secret meetings, cancelling dates, depositing money into an account for another woman. The last straw forJessica is when after a cell phone switch, Max's phone rings and Jessicaanswers it and it turns out to be the "other woman". Is this marriagegoing to end before it's actually began and when Jessica realises thatthings are definitely not what they seem , with the help of her friendsHelen, Giles, Ivana and Sean ,can Jessica save her marriage to Max withoutcausing a hole to deep to climb out of ?. A fun story that is your usualchick lit and lends us the moral "that everything is not what it seems, and sometimes what you see on the surface is nowhere near the truth". As I did the first book, I enjoyed the second book of the Jessica Wild trilogy. I was a little thrown off by how quickly Jess assumed Max was having an affair, though. I found it irrational. But then again, I have never been through the experience. Other than that, I truly enjoyed the book. I love Max. If I could have him be my husband, I would. He's absolutely perfect; Jess is right. I also believe Jess and Max are just about the perfect couple. But it bothers me that Jess revealed Max's secret, which could potentially harm their relationship in the future. Still, I'm glad they married at the end.

Had to read the next series. It's not as good as the first yet just as delightful to read.
