Oddily (2011) - Plot & Excerpts

A surprising story. Had a few grammatical errors but not a lot. Oddily's character wasn't the strongest and weak characters usually drive me crazy but I understood why she had such low self esteem and always second guessing people's intentions. No vamps, witches, werewolves, or fairies but did have a neat paranormal duo in Maxim and his sister. I'll definitely read the next book. On one last note, the cover did nothing for the book. Interesting concept, but too many things about this story were "odd". Who would name a child "Oddily" and why? In what school could a student get locked in a locker for real? And in what school would a high school kid fit into a locker? How big are their lockers? If she was in the foster care system and left her foster family, wouldn't someone come looking for her? What is the deal with her breastlessness? Too many strange pieces in this puzzle.

I thought it was good. I cannot imagine someone as gullible as Oddily. Hoping she gets a backbone.
