Off Season is an awesome short story from Sawyer Bennett about Cady Dunne and Zane Kavanaugh. Cady Dunne is related to Linc and Nix Caldwell and is visiting in the United States for a few weeks. While she is in town she meets Zane at a hockey team party and instant sparks fly. Too bad Cady is flying back to Ireland the next day. They both decide to have a one-night stand and spend all night having fun. What neither of them expected was that they were so drawn together. Zane decides to email Cady and see if she wants to maintain a friendship through emails. It was wonderful watching their relationship develop. I loved their fun, sexy banter. My heart ached for these two to be able to be together. I really enjoyed the direction the story took and just adored the ending! It really was a perfect happy ending! Well Happy Holidays to you too! Even at Christmas time Sawyer can still bedazzle her readers with this sweet Novella (and I thought that the Off Series was gone for good). I have loved every Off Book that Sawyer has written this book no different. The other great thing about this book is that Sawyer and both myself are hockey junkies and the male character Zane Kavanaugh is a professional hockey player thank you girlfriend! Zane was briefly in Off The Record you know one of Linc's teamates. The female Cady Dunne was in Off Course you know when we all traveled to Ireland for Cillian and Renner. Ok enough of going down memory land Off Season is about boy meets girl, Zane and Cady have a one night stand (A Sawyer Bennett one night stand) and then Cady goes back to Ireland after staying with her cousin and Zane...well Zane can't seem to forget Cady. And so the story goes....Can an Ocean separate what the heart wants? This is story will make you feel warm and fuzzy and a couple of things after you read it. Oh come on it's Sawyer for crying out loud!Merry Christmas and Enjoy!
Great novella! These "Off" characters are some of my all time favorites!
