I do my reviews in the form of a letter, which is why they are written like this.Dear Robin Jones Gunn, Amazing, amazing job!! I love Katie. She is such an open and sweet person. I am so happy that you decided to write about her. I was touched. I was so glad I got to know Eli better in this book, because he's a very nice character. I'm sure we'll get to see him more (wink, wink). Katie is her usual spunky self. I honestly thought it was a very sweet moment when she went with Eli and Joseph for that ride. It seemed like a beautiful and touching moment. Can I say I approve of what she did with her money? I cried when Joseph reacted so happily. I liked her interactions with Christy, Julia, Nicole, and Todd. Now, onto Rick. I've never really liked him. In the last book, I did. But in this one, I was reminded again of why I don't. He's still kind of flirty, he's still snobby, and in a way he still makes the girls feel like they have to please him. I wish Katie would ditch Rick, because he doesn't love her like she loves him. He's too caught up in his stupid business stuff. So, no, I don't approve of him. I liked being with these amazing characters again. Thanks for writing this book.Sincerely,Lena Marie Nice book. It's a good read about relationships, friends, finding yourself, and following God. But something kind of bothered me. Katie's a great person! In fact she goes with the flow, she's beautiful, generous, loyal, fun, deep spirited, good at arguing, fearless at speaking her mind, loves the adventure of trying something new, witty, has a loving heart, and on and on... Actually I found all of these within just the first 3 chapters of the book (except for witty, you figure this out yourself pretty quickly). These are all amazing qualities and I wish I myself was more like her, but it was also hard to relate with her. She seemed almost close to perfect. Really, the only quality she has that's not exactly in her favor is that she can't wait. At all. Which gets her into trouble more than once. But all in all I have to say it was a pretty good book. It doesn't really motivate me to read any more of the series though.
