On The Plus Side is probably one of my favorite adult contemporary novels ever. Books featuring plus sized girls, like myself, are my guilty pleasure and I was not disappointed at ALL with this book. As soon as I began reading I knew that I was in for an emotional read. I love books where the main character is a little insecure and afraid to trust men because that's how I am, and I can relate to that. Relating to a character is extremely important to me and I really related to Lilly. The emotions this book made me feel had my heart literally aching for Lilly and Devin. This isn't a book you read to take your mind off of things, this is a book that makes you feel something. Books that cause such strong emotions are books worth reading, and I can tell you that I stayed up all night reading this book because it was that good. I really loved everything about this book from the sweet romance, to the emotional ending, and even the lies that were told. I hate to say it but I also love it when a male character does something terrible, realizes what he has lost, and is forced to beg for forgiveness. A little humility never hurt anyone, right? It makes stories all that more interesting and this book DEFINITELY keeps you interested. If you are looking for an adult novel full of romance, emotions, betrayal, and ultimately, happiness then On The Plus Side is a book you need to pick up! Wow what a ride!!!!!!!!That felt like a true story. This isnt just a story to read this is a story to feel and boy did I feel. This story has so many things going on that the emotional rollercoaster was bumpy. So heartbreaking and traumatic in alot of the events. It kept me on the brink of tears many a time.Tabatha Vargo is obviously a person who has been in the fat girl situation and has great heart and respect in revealing the story of Lilly and Devin.Wow Lilly is an original character such elegance and beauty where there has been so much pain and disgrace. I love that even though she is aware that she is a plus size girl (and yes a real plus size girl size 20 - not those skinny bitches who have a little extra boob and a small belly pfft) even though she is aware she doest become over whiny about it.Devin is great I love how he overcomes his obstacles and his love for Lilly grows through the story. I love how he sticks up for her and you really believe the love he has for Lilly is real.This love story completely jumps off the page into your heart Loved it!!!!!!From the beginning to the end I cant believe I am reading the same story it really grows. Tabatha Vargo positively grows with each sentence, her voice becomes stronger with each paragraph and her skill is dominat as the emotions flow. Complete and utter brilliance, I cannot wait for this series to continue.And your in luck there is an Epoilogue and its FANTASTIC!!!!
