Unfortunately I bought this book on accident, fumbling around on my iPhone one morning pre-coffee. Fortunately it was only $1.99....and that's the end of my luck.At best this book feels like an unedited story. Some parts are written understandably, others so jarring that I had to go back and re-read whole pages just to figure out how I got there. Too hard to read, character development so poor I couldn't keep anybody straight. I really enjoyed this book, lots of intrigue and a few unexpected twists. It was light on the romance heavy on the mystery and magic, which you don't find all that easily. Bonus is it was a fast-paced and laugh-out-loud tale that had me hooked from start to finish. Again not an easy feat, especially as it seems I'm becoming more fussy when it comes to liking a book. All I can say now is that I can't wait to read the next Stacy Justice novel. I won't say much more as there's not much else to say without reveiling spoilers and this is a must read book. So if you want a nice book that keeps you on the edge of your seat and will get you strange looks from the other bus passengers as you let slip a giggle or two, then look no further.
