This short story is a prequel to Me, Myself and Why and sets up the odd but intriguing idea of an FBI agent harboring three different personalities. Poor Mr. Better, stuck trying to figure out what the beautiful but very scary strange girl with the runaway cat and not get himself injured (or more injured) in the process. Considering Adrienne made an appearance he is very lucky to get away with only a kiss. And Shiro could have kicked his ass. I am just wondering how embarrassed poor Cadence will be by her sisters' actions. A great intro to the wild world of multiple personality disorder in these new books. Plot: Since this was a prequel, it didn't have much of a plot line. And honestly, I felt the plot line didn't make any sense.Characters: The blond that the plumber talks about it just plain WEIRD. I think she might have multiple personalities, because of how drastically she changes over the short time of the story. While she is interesting, she was just odd and didn't interest me much.Setting: Since it was such a short story, there isn't much setting. Basically it's just set around the guy's plumbing truck. Nothing too exciting.Overall: This book did nothing for me. I'm sorry, but I prefer my short stories to pull me into the series and want to look into it, and this book didn't. I was quite disappointed.
What do You think about Outta The Bag (2010)?
Not as good as Me, Myself and Why likely because we're not in Shiro and company's head, but good.
