The animal pelt fell to just above her knee, and he thought she looked beautiful and wild, her skin flushed pink. “Thank you for sharing that with me. I’m honored.” She reached up and touched his cheek and he felt his heart struggle under the enormity and rush of feelings he was not at all used to, and of words he had not expected, but had always yearned for. “Don’t you want to see how warm that water is?”
