Paixão Proibida Em Summerset Abbey (2014) - Plot & Excerpts
This is the second book of this trilogy, and it was amazing. I love the tenacity of these three ladies, during a time when ladies were taught mostly, to not have opinions. Each female character faces the loss of their father in a unique way, showing both strength and courage. This book although talks of all 3 characters, centers a lot on Victoria. I love her spunk, and determination, although at times she leaps before she thinks. I like her relationship with Kit, and her dedication to her sisters. World war one is one the horizon, and so is the fight for more rights for females. She is determined, not to be left out of either fight, no matter what her family thinks. Very well written.....Look forward to book three....Spring awakening. Enjoyable but sometimes the three leading ladies were too frustrating for words. I just wanted to shake them and ask why they would do something so stupid. However, despite those frustrating moments, I was still caught up in the lives of the characters. Their choices wouldn't necessarily have been what I wished for them but I enjoyed reading about them and look forward to finishing the trilogy. Good audiobook production.

Sorry, but I'm just too bored to continue. Victoria is driving me nuts. Moving on.
