Another dog detective series that I absolutely love! (There's only 1 other that gets 5 stars from me, and all the others that I've read just don't get close).I highly recommend this book. Diane Kelly did a fantastic job with this -- a unique setup for the partnership, and the character development was done well for this type of book (imho). It's funny, easy to read, relaxing, interesting, entertaining, and I love the chapters from the canine perspective. Hopefully those will be expanded in future books -- just enough to tease in this first one.I've pre-purchased the 2nd book Paw and Order and look forward to downloading it on December 30. I kinda liked some of this, but overall, i found it grating and annoying. Perhaps Kelly is giving Luz room to grow up, but I found her self-centred and obnoxious, with occasionally offensive thrown in for kicks. The romance is iffy and annoying and insulting to Luz, although I wanted to like Seth. The Brigit chapters are occasionally funny, but usually don't add anything to the story. the bombing plot was kinda neat, but seemed to wrap up too swiftly considering how it started.
What do You think about Paw Enforcement (2014)?
Fun read. Kelly knows how to wring a laugh from the unexpected. Can't wait for next installment.

Cute. Funny. Great as a beach read, or any time you want your murder mystery on the lighter side.

I really enjoyed this book - Brigit's point of view was funny.
